Hernandez was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City, on May 8, 1996, as a second son to mother Natividad Perez-Hernandez and father Daniel Hernandez.
His biological dad was a heroin addict, and he abandoned his family when Hernandez was an infant.
He did not meet his father until he was nine and believed his father was dead.
His childhood was full of struggles.
After his stepfather was shot dead in the streets in 2010, his family had to go through a financial crisis.
